The North Texas Chapter of AOSA awards scholarships toward AOSA-approved levels courses (Level I, II, or III). One scholarship, the Laci Betterton Memorial Scholarship, is a level I scholarship that will cover the full cost of tuition, not to exceed an amount equal to the current SMU Orff Levels tuition rate, and shall be awarded to a single recipient. The number and amounts of all other scholarships will be determined by the Executive Board. This application form, completed in its entirety, must be received no later than March 10. The recipient(s) will be announced at the Spring workshop.

APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE NORTH TEXAS CHAPTER FOR THE PAST YEAR.

The recipient must present proof of registration or a receipt of tuition paid, ANDa certificate of completion in order to redeem the award. The North Texas Chapter will not pay the course directly; rather, the recipient will be reimbursed by the Chapter. The recipient may also not receive any additional scholarship(s) from the North Texas Chapter during the same year. In the event that the applicant receives a scholarship from any other source, the combined amounts of scholarships from both sources shall not exceed the total cost of the course, and the final amount reimbursed by the North Texas Chapter may be adjusted as necessary.
